The Word for the World Bible Translators are people like you who want to see the Word of God spread to every people and language group.
The Word for the World believes that God can best speak to people through their own heart language. We are after the hearts of the people, that they might know God and make Him known.
Our emphasis is upon training the local people who already speak the language to translate the Bible accurately and efficiently.
The Word for the World began work in Africa in 1981 and is also working in India, eastern Europe and other locations. You are a part of The Word for the World when you pray and support this work. Thank you for obeying the Lord in the Great Commission so that people of every language group may have access to God’s Word.
